Kim Baker became interested in immigration law due to interactions with former clients who were non-citizens of the USA and needed assistance navigating the tax code. She also donates her time to the Charlotte Triage Pro Bono Partnership with special immigrant juvenile cases and Charlotte Legal Advocacy. Not able to ignore the significant need for knowledgeable assistance, K. Baker, LLC was formed.
Ms. Baker is the founder and owner of K. Baker, LLC. Her practice is focused on immigration cases. With 15 plus years of experience in auditing, consulting, and instructing, Ms. Baker has finely developed her legal skills to best represent her client's legal needs. A resourceful professional, her work includes servicing the United States Department of Treasury (IRS) as an Enrolled Agent, the New York State Department of Taxation & Finance, Deloitte, and the Small Business Administration (SBA). She is an active member of the New Jersey and the South Carolina Bar Association. Receiving a degree in each of these fields has given her the ability to work with the community in multiple professional industries.
